Reset the Linksys E1200 Router to Factory Default

How to factory reset the Linksys E1200 N300 Wireless Router

If you Forget the admin Password, you can reset the router to factory default.

There are two ways to Factory reset the Wireless Router.

Hardware Reset Linksys E1200

Locate the reset button at the bottom of the router.

Press and hold the Reset button for about 5 to 10 seconds then release it.

Now the router will be restarting in Factory default mode.

Software Reset

Login to the Web interface using user name and Password(admin/admin)

Now go to the Administration tab > Factory Defaults

Now, click the Restore Factory Defaults button.
