How to Factory Reset Palo Alto Networks Device<\/p>\n

    1. Connect the device to your Laptop\/Computer through Serial Port using any Terminal Emulation Software (9600,8,n,1)<\/li>\n
    2. Power on the device<\/li>\n
    3. During the boot, type maint<\/strong> to enter maintenance mode.<\/li>\n
    4. In PAN-OS 7.1, you have to choose maint<\/strong> from the boot menu.<\/li>\n
    5. Once the device is booted in maint mode press Enter<\/strong> to continue<\/strong><\/li>\n
    6. Now you will see the Maintenance Recovery Tool<\/strong> Screen.<\/li>\n
    7. In that, select Factory Reset<\/strong> and press enter.<\/li>\n
    8. You will see the Warning<\/strong> Screen\u00a0 “Performing reset will remove all logs and configuration<\/strong>“.<\/li>\n
    9. Select Factory Reset<\/strong> and press Enter again.<\/li>\n
    10. This will reset the device to factory default<\/li>\n
    11. Use admin\/admin<\/strong> to login again.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
