Default User Name and Password of MailWatch Web User Interface<\/p>\n

MailWatch Default Password<\/span><\/h3>\n

There is no default user name and password for MailWatch web interface.
\nThe Admin user name and password are created during the installation.<\/p>\n

IF you didn’t create it during the installation, you can follow the below procedure to create now.<\/p>\n

How to Create a MailWatch web user<\/span><\/h3>\n

Login to your MYSql database through shell or PHPMyAdmin<\/p>\n

Creating Through Shell<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

#mysql mailscanner -u mailwatch -p<\/strong>
\n #Enter password: ******<\/strong>
\nNow run the following Command on sql shell or PHPMyAdmin to create new user with Admin Rights (Replace Username and Password)
\nmysql><\/strong> INSERT INTO users SET username = ‘<username<\/strong>>’, password = MD5(‘<password<\/strong>>’), fullname = ‘<name>’, type = ‘A’<\/p>\n

Eg:-<\/p>\n

mysql><\/strong> INSERT INTO users SET username = ‘admin<\/strong>‘, password = MD5(‘see3d32<\/strong>‘), fullname = ‘Administrator<\/strong>‘, type = ‘A<\/strong>‘<\/p>\n

If the above not working, then try<\/p>\n

mysql><\/strong> INSERT INTO users VALUES (\u2018admin\u2019,md5(\u2018see3d32<\/strong>\u2019),\u2019name\u2019,\u2019A\u2019,\u20190\u2032,\u20190\u2032,\u20190\u2032,\u20190\u2032,\u20190\u2032);<\/p>\n
