If you forget the Untangle Web Admin Password, you can follow the below procedure to recover it.
\nAlso you can use this procedure to reset untangle to Factory Default.<\/p>\n

Reset Untangle Web Console Admin Password<\/span><\/h2>\n

    1. Connect your Untangle Server to Keyboarder and Monitor.<\/li>\n
    2. Now in the navigation bar click on “Recovery Utilities” <\/strong><\/strong>button.
      \n<\/strong><\/strong>
      \n\"Reset<\/li>\n
    3. \u00a0This will show “Are you sure want to run Recovery? it will stop network service.”<\/strong><\/li>\n
    4. Click “yes<\/strong>” to proceed further.<\/li>\n
    5. A terminal window will appear and show the following options
      \nReturn to Factory Defaults<\/strong>
      \n Reset Administration Accounts<\/strong>
      \n Upgrade<\/strong>
      \n Remote Support<\/strong><\/strong>
      \n\"untangle<\/li>\n
    6. In that select “Reset Administration Accounts” <\/strong>hit enter
      \n<\/strong><\/li>\n
    7. This will ask you to Confirm<\/strong> “Reset administration login (to admin\/passwd)?<\/strong>”

    8. Select yes<\/strong> and Click Enter to confirm the password reset.<\/li>\n
    9. Now the Untangle Web Admin Password will be reset passwd<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/ol>\n

      Reset Untangle Root Password<\/span><\/h3>\n

      Boot the Untangle Server in Linux Single user mode and reset the root password.<\/p>\n

      In single user mode enter the following command.<\/p>\n

      #passwd<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Reset Untangle to Factory Default<\/span><\/h3>\n

      In the 5th step, select ” Return to Factory Defaults<\/strong>” and click enter.<\/p>\n
