How to reset Kerio Connect Firewall Mail Server admin account password<\/p>\n

Reset Kerio Control Windows version User
\n<\/span><\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. Stop Kerio Control Engine<\/li>\n
  2. Go to the installation path for Kerio Control. Default path is “C:Program FilesKerioWinRoute Firewall”<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Edit the file userDB.cfg<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Look for the name of the administrator user account in Local users<\/strong> list <variable name=”Name”>admin<\/variable><\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. And look for <variable name=”password”>D3S:1sdfgsedsfsd89<\/variable><\/strong><\/li>\n
  6. Chang this to NUL as shown below for blank password
    \n<variable name=”password”>NUL:<\/variable><\/strong><\/li>\n
  7. Save the userDB.cfg<\/strong> file and restart the Kerio Control engine.<\/li>\n
  8. Now Log-in to the administration using an empty password<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Reset Admin Password or Linux Version<\/span><\/h2>\n

    1. Stop the Kerio Connect Engine<\/strong> by running the following command
      \n #\/etc\/init.dl\/kerio-connect stop<\/strong><\/li>\n
    2. Go to the Kerio Connect installation path<\/strong>. The default path is \/opt\/kerio\/mailserver.<\/strong><\/li>\n
    3. Edit the users.cfg<\/strong> file as shown above and save it.<\/li>\n
    4. Restart Kerio Connect engine<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    5. Now Log-in to the administration using an empty password<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
